ニューイングランド地方は、BOSの地元Massachusetts州を中心に、お隣のRhode Island州（Rocco Baldelli、Ryan Westmorelandはここ出身）、New Hampshire州、Maine州、Connecticut州、Vermont州で構成されます。USAの北東部に位置し、寒冷な気候と、小さめな州が多いこともあって、Florida、California、Texasのような州と比べると、タレントは絶対的に少ないです。
*これ書いてて気づいたんですが、このブログでたびたび、RenfroeやSchwindenhammerをニューイングランド出身と書いていましたが勘違いでした。RenfroeはMississippi、SchwindenhammerはIllinoisです。現在、傘下のニューイングランド出身選手は、Hassan、K. Fernandezと、Prospectじゃないけど、HillがMassachusetts。WestmorelandとKapsteinがRhode Island。あとは、生まれはCaliforniaみたいですけど、LavarnwayはYale大（Connecticut）出身。同様にドミニカ生まれだけど、R. ReyesはMassachusettsの高校から契約した。

Comments: Tyler Beedeほどではないが、現在の各誌ランキングで、Top 100前後の評価を受ける。身長が低いが、Sonny Grayと比較されるように、ややフラットだが、常時92 mph以上で、最速95 mphと球威のある速球を持つ。フォームも安定感がある。カーブはやや不安定だけど、高く評価されており、チェンジアップもプラスになるとも。小柄なだけにリリーフとも言われるが、ドラ2、3あたりではチェックしたい投手です。Florida大のコミットがあるし、小柄だからスリップしやすいタイプかと思います。ドラ4、5くらいで獲れるといいなぁ。7月で20歳になるので来年Freshmanでドラフトに出れるらしい。
